As of September 17, our firm is launching a patent portfolio diagnosis service.

The patent portfolio diagnosis service analyzes the pending and registered patents of startups and small and medium-sized enterprises in light of the business (products or services) they operate, and proposes directions for establishing an IP-R&D strategy.

The main elements of the service are as follows.

- Analysis of pending patent applications

- Analysis of registered patents

- Analysis of the match rate between the pending/registered patents and the company's own products or services

- Analysis of the match rate between the pending/registered patents and competitors' products or services (Optional)

- Analysis of the company's patent holdings relative to competitors' pending and registered patents (Optional)

- Establishment of an IP-R&D strategy

1) Claim amendment strategy for pending applications (targeting the company's own and competitors' products)

2) Divisional application strategy for pending applications (targeting the company's own and competitors' products)

3) Evaluation of registered patent holdings and identification of white-space areas

Fees for the service vary depending on the number of patents analyzed and the specific scope of work.

For a basic engagement covering up to a set number of patents and analyzing only the company's own products, fees start at KRW 2 million.
